Oksana Grigorieva's Publicist Jumps Ship

Oksana Grigorieva's spokesperson is tapping out of her war with Mel Gibson -- and TMZ has learned money played a big role in his departure.

Depending on who you talk to, Steve Jaffe either quit or was fired from his post as Oksana's PR flack.

We're told there was definitely a money issue -- as in Oksana doesn't have any to pay for Jaffe's services.

Sources close to Oksana say she was not happy with the job Jaffe was doing. We're told Oksana was especially disappointed with how Jaffe handled the extortion allegations Gibson has made against her. Read More!

Oliver Stone joins Mel Gibson

According to Philly, in the interview, Stone said that U.S. foreign policy is wrong about Iran, and that the U.S.'s focus on the Holocaust was due to "Jewish domination of the media."

"By invoking this grotesque, toxic stereotype, Oliver Stone has outed himself as an anti-Semite," said AJC Executive Director David Harris.

"For all of Stone's progressive pretensions, his remark is no different from one of the drunken, Jew-hating rants of his fellow Hollywood celebrity, Mel Gibson."

In the article, Stone charged that "Hitler did far more damage to the Russians than the Jewish people," claiming that 25 million to 30 million Russians were killed by the Germans. Read More!

Mel Gibson goes to church!

Over the weekend, Mel Gibson finally surfaced, walking from his $14.5 million Malibu home to his Catholic church for mass over the weekend.

The actor, 54, built the chapel in 2003 and services there adhere by his "traditionalist" views -- a foot-tall crucifix is located on the altar; the priest performs mass every morning entirely in Latin and women must wear head coverings.

Gibson could use a prayer right now.

For weeks, he has been at the ugly center of a bitter custody battle with ex Oksana Grigorieva.

Almost daily, new audio tapes surface of the actor berating his 40-year-old ex, threatening violence and spewing racial slurs.

In his latest tape - posted Monday on RadarOnline - he allegedly tells Grigorieva he regrets having a baby with her.

"Did you get my last message about me being a bad father and Tim being a great dad?" Gibson asks. "You didn't hear that one? Well, you should go f*** him … because I don't care." Read More!
